We are having a girls residential weekend on16/17th March at Rutland Sailing Club. It will be a two day event with sailing training both Saturday and Sunday led by Kirsty Bonar. Would suggest we meet between 9 a.m./10 a.m. with a view to being rigged and ready etc by 10.30. and we plan to be finished by 4.30 p.m. on the Sunday. Lunch will be provided on Saturday plus hot supper, breakfast on Sunday together with lunch. You may want to bring a small goodie bag with you, but not too many sweets please!! Think of your fitness programmes! On the Saturday evening we will be having fun plus will be having a couple of short sessions on issues affecting girls as they progress through their sailing careers. One particular aspect i.e. periods and how to cope, will be part of the programme. On the booking form, which follows shortly, parents will have to give their permission for girls to attend this particular session. An alternative activity will be available if necessary. You will need to bring pillows and sleeping bags with you too please. The cost for the whole weekend will be £50.00. Could I please ask those interested to let me know by email asap so I can confirm numbers with Rutland, and by return I will send you a booking form and ask you to forward the £50.00 to me.
